"She is absolutely amazing and so professional, she makes you feel so comfortable. Awesome job thank you Krystal!!" - Desiree L.

Senior sessions typically take 1-2 hours. I allow up to 3 wardrobe changes and the option of cap and gown poses. If you don't have your cap and gown yet, you may use one of mine during your session. I encourage my senior clients to bring props that are meaningful to them and that express who they are. Some examples are sports balls, pom poms, Bible, and I've even had a senior bring an Xbox to his session.

As always, I provide portrait detail editing℠  on all the final edited images.

"I am beyond thrilled with the amazing session my family and I had with Krystal. Even before the day of the session, she was so helpful with wardrobe planning and any other questions I had. I hate being in pictures, but she really made me feel at ease during the session, and was even miraculously able to get natural smiles out of my kids, my husband and I. She was so fun to work with and really knew how to get us into the perfect positions for the perfect shots. When I saw the finished work from the session, I was amazed with how the pictures came out, and I have received many compliments on the pictures. Overall, from beginning to end, it was a great experience!" - Lena S.

Family sessions typically take about an hour to an hour and half. During a family session, I get a mixture of images that include the whole family together, Dad with the children, Mom with the children, Dad and Mom, each of the children individually and together, and anything else you decide you want captured. I do tend to organically pose which means I help coach the positions that I know will make for a great portrait but let your family naturally settle into it. I also catch the fun experienced in between which make for fun and often times special moments captured. My goal is to ensure your family has a great experience during the session as well as capturing the genuine joy, love, and fun that will make perfect pieces of art to hang on your wall or to put into a photo book to tell a story of your family experience.

As always, I provide portrait detail editing℠ on all the final edited images.

Child sessions typically take around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your child and whether they naturally feel comfortable in front of the camera or need some adjusting time. The most common child sessions are capturing baby's growth at 3, 6, and 9 months, one year cake smashes, birthday sessions, and yearly spring and fall portraits. When children are younger, many parents tend to worry that their child is going to be wild and crazy and not hold still for a single moment and smile at my camera, aaaand they're right! There's no need to stress out and worry though. I have children of my own and I used to teach elementary school so I know that children aren't generally going to pose and smile. It's for this reason that I typically capture your child doing what they do best...PLAYING! You'd be surprised the heart melting smiles and laughs that I can capture while your child plays. I also have many tricks up my sleeve as well to capture those smiles and laughs while they are looking straight into my camera lens, so rest assured that I can capture great portraits of your children that you will cherish forever!

As always, I provide portrait detail editing℠ on all the final edited images.

"I absolutely loved having Krystal take my newborn photos.  She is truly talented not only with the camera but also my baby.  She puts so much passion behind every shot.  I would highly recommend her photography service!" - Deanna L.

Newborn sessions typically take about 3-4 hours. This time frame allows for not only taking photos but for nursing or bottle feeding, diaper changes, rocking to sleep, safely setting up each and every pose, and to do this all at a relaxed and non-stressful pace. I offer posed, lifestyle, or a mixture of both for newborn sessions. I use safe practices when handling newborns so you can rest assured that your fresh and precious bundle will be safely, softly, and lovingly cared for while capturing their photos.

As always, I provide portrait detail editing℠ on all the final edited images.

"Krystal is fun to work with and has tons of tricks to make you look your best. She is patient, intuitive, and holistically considers your goals and opinions. She has a high-end studio lighting setup and a great eye for outdoor lighting. Thanks Krystal!" - Jen A.

Headshots typically take about 20-30 minutes of actual shoot time. I do give the option of traditional studio backdrop or environmental background, which can be office, nature, or cityscape.

For business headshots, my goal is to capture an image that visually tells about you and your role in the company, conveying the message behind you and your company brand.

For actor headshots, my goal is to capture you exactly as I see you in person, which means very little retouching since your headshot will represent your image for auditions as they saw you in person.

For model headshots, my goal is to artistically capture you, focusing on your modelesque features, for the use of marketing your modeling portfolio.

Headshot pricing is a flat rate that includes portrait detail editing℠ of one digital image with a commercial use license. Additional digital images may be purchased.

For companies who require headshots for more than one person, I offer a discount for headshots done on the same day, time frame, and location.

Session Locations

Outdoor Sessions

There are outdoor locations I have used that are great for portrait sessions and I can recommend a location based on your personality and to fit the vision you have for your portraits. However, if there is a specific outdoor location you would prefer, I am happy to photograph your session at the outdoor location of your choice. If the outdoor location is farther than 20 miles of the KCP studio (Concord 94519), a travel fee may apply.

Studio Sessions

Studio sessions may be done for newborn sessions, intimate maternity sessions, child sessions, or when only a few people will be photographed.

"Talk about service with a smile! Krystal not only has a terrific outlook but her cheerfulness pours over into her work. She documented our baby shower beautifully, making sure to capture even the tiniest details. I am so very thankful to have those photos of such a memorable day! Then when our little guy arrived 4 weeks early, Krystal came to our home, with beautiful professional equipment, and took THE most creative and adorable newborn photos! She took her time making sure he stayed asleep so she could capture all kinds of different poses. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to work with her again soon!" - Nikki W.
